 | No firearms or crossbows are allowed on the property. |
 | Alcoholic beverages are not allowed on the property |
 | Possession of any alcoholic beverage is reason for immediate removal from
the property. |
 | No shooting is permitted when and where RANGE CLOSED signs are posted.
RANGE CLOSED, signs may be posted at the entry of individual courses to
close selected areas of the range or signs may be posted at the driveway to
close the entire range. |
 | No OVER BOWED" archers are permitted to shoot on the property. An
archer must draw their arrow straight back while aiming at the target at all
times. Archers must draw their bow to their anchor point without deviating
the point of their arrow from the target that they are aiming at; neither in
the vertical nor horizontal plane to the target. If this cannot be done, the
archer is "over bowed. The archer must reduce their draw weight so that
they can draw safely or discontinue shooting. Individuals who fail to comply
will be instructed to leave the property. |
 | Shooting Line Safety: When shooting on the flat/field range in particular,
check that all archers on the shooting line have stopped shooting and it is
dear to retrieve arrows from the targets. Verify that it is safe to proceed
by yelling, "CLEAR?" along the shooting line, and do not advance
until you have confirmation from all archers that is dear to proceed.
Likewise, when preparing to shoot, ensure that there is no one down range
before shooting. Verify visually for unattended equipment at the shooting
line or equipment/clothing placed in front of a target, or any other dues
that may indicate that someone may be down range. Confirm by yelling,
"IS ANYONE DOWN RANGE?", if you have the slightest doubt as to
whether it's safe to shoot. |
 | Pets must be on a leash and controlled by their owner. |
 | No hunting or shooting at wildlife is permitted on the property. |
 | When retrieving arrows from behind the target sheds, always leave your bow
in front of the target if shooting alone, or have someone stand in front of
the target, to alert other archers to your presence. |
 | Broadheads are only permitted to be used on the broadhead targets on the
left side of the flat/field range. Broadheads are not permitted on the
walk-through courses; leave them in your vehicle! |
 | Non-members must pay the posted range maintenance fee to use the range,
before proceeding to the flat/field range or walk-through courses with
archery equipment. There is no charge for children under 12 years old,
however, all youth must be accompanied by an adult who has paid a range fee
or is a Club member. |
 | This Club is policed by the membership. Non-members must cooperate with
members (displaying a membership card) who ask for identification to verify
range fee payment. |
 | Shooting is not permitted on the flat field range or on the walk-through
range courses after dark. The ranges are open every day during daylight
hours, unless posted otherwise. |
 | Enter the walk-through range courses at designated entry points only. |
 | NEVER back track on the trails of the walk-through range courses. Always
proceed forward on the trails to exit. |
 | Shooting is only allowed from within the established shooting lanes.
Shooting is not allowed beyond the furthest shooting stake or from the brush
and trees for any reason. Return all arrows you may find on the range to the
clubhouse and deposit them in the iron arrow barrel outside. Do not use
someone else's arrows and DO NOT SHOOT BROKEN ARROWS; it is very dangerous
and may cause injury to yourself and/or others! |
 | Please do not litter! Return all aluminum cans, broken arrows and trash to
the trash receptacles at the clubhouse. |
 | Use care when smoking on the range. Avoid smoking anywhere other than
established shooting positions or benches. Anyone causing damage to the
range due to careless smoking will be held personally liable. |
 | When practicing your Elk or other Game calls, please use the parking area
only and never after dark. It is important that we are considerate of our
neighbors and avoid disturbing the peace. |
 | Please use courtesy at all times on all ranges. Represent archers and
archery in a respectable and appropriate manner. |
